Moving Day at The Open
Once again our mailer had some data technical issues, we apologise for the poor execution and hopefully we have fixed the dramas heading Sunday.
With the wind down and sunny skies, Royal St George’s was there for the taking, but the course responded with tighter pins and managed to create some form of protection.
All of the top 4 managed to shoot under par with Conners making the biggest charge, with a 66 and now sitting 4 shots back.
The Final Day Sunday is tee’d up beautifully, King Louis with a 1 shot lead over Collin and Spieth sitting 3 back. It's hard to see the Champion coming outside of these 3. It should be an incredible Sunday and we cannot wait.
The day could have ended very different. King Louis looked unbreakable on the front 9, with Spieth harnessing some power. But it flipped later with Jordan and King Louis floundering and Collin stepping up.
Jordan’s 3 putt on 18 brought back some scary moments, but overall he putted beautifully and should feel great headed into Sunday.
King Louis leads into Sunday and looks greta value for his efforts so far. His play on Saturday lacked his usual edge and yet he still finished the day 1 ahead. More of the same please on Sunday.
Sunday is teed up nicely:
King Louis win: finally his 2nd major, 11 years apart!
Jordan win: 5 majors and seriously stepping up his pursuit of majors as he climbs the hierarchy.
Collin win: 2 majors in his first 8 majors.
Round of the Day
There was no distinct advantage between the morning and afternoon fields in terms of winds and it showed in the scores.
Conners under the pressure of the afternoon and being in the mix, mades huge strides with a 66.
However, it was the Scottish Macintyre who was able to go lowest with a 65 and creeping into contention for a top 10.
Shot of the Day
Moving Day is all about shot making and there was a lack of spellbinding shots as the pressure settled in.
Ultimately Willet managed a cheeky hole out on 10 when others were taking boget vaulting him up the leaderboard.
The Leaders
It’s a bunfight at the top, but the daylight to Jordan and the further gaps to the rest.
The Chasers
Can the Chasers make enough of a charge to get into the mix. Perhaps Smith who showed some early forays on Saturday.

The next challengers come from Gorgeous George's and Creamy Goodness who are close with 18 holes to play.
There are a few others a further shot back and within 8 shots of the lead. Overall thats a long way to go
