Time for the 3rd major of the year. Welcome to the 2025 US Open at Oakmont where legends are created.

With less than 24 hours to go before the first tee time of the major, the course has been drenched, but the sub-air system is humming to give the course some teeth in firm and fast greens. The rough is up, the course is going to play long and the crowds will be flocking in!

We know the players are prepped and like us, eager to get things cracking on Oakmont in the hunt for the US Open. Its going to be an epic adventure on a seriously tough test.

Don’t panic and get on with those PICKS.



The first tee shot belongs to a group of relative randoms, who have all qualified into the major! They will lead us off at 6:45am local time.

Oakmont will be a special few days - testing every club in the bag. The prediction of carnage is clear, which is great!

US Open Pairings
The Tee times were released earlier today and there are some absolute crackers to get us going and what a lead pairing this is, drum roll please.
The Europeans: Rory, Lowry, Rose
The defenders: X, The Bulk and an other
US Open champs: Fitzy, Wyndie and GaryDoubleU
Open Champs: Cambo, Harmie, Lefty
Major Champs: Jordan, Rahmbo, DJ
There are a few other fun pairings with a mix of mini battles scattered throughout, plus the past champions and a few club pro’s to keep the action rolling!



Your Picks
Prep time was hopefully put to good use, but now is the time to commit, visualise and execute. Make those PICKS.

Top Bucket: The form list is clear and its laced with Scottie over and over. It will be a tough chase for the other 9, though to win 2 majors in a year is not easy in the same light.



2nd Bucket: Have to like the chances of the in-form ball-striking Lowry who also had a good run at the 2016 major or the sweet smiling (and swinging) Swede, who might be a perfect fit for a long and challenging Oakmont, despite his lack of form.

3rd Bucket: A tougher batch, needing to find 2 in here. It could be any of them or it could be none. Will Jordan be able to show some force in a major again? The Feed qualified and has shown some decent form in majors of late.

Bottom Bucket: Pick your poison, calling all pockets, all options are open. The list is endless. Detry is seeking something and a ball striker to boot.
