2026 Open Championship: Time for the last 9 holes

Time for the final and grandest major of the year. Welcome to The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, one of the finest links courses across the globe, which last hosted a major in 2017 when Jordan claimed glory and the Claret Jug.



For this major, majorpunter will not be in action. Due to a variety of challenges experienced, we are not able to deliver a consistent product and thus will be missing The Open Championship in 2026.

The Championship is looking to be a cracker with it being wind-swept already, baked firm and fast.



We know the players are prepped and like us, eager to get things cracking in the hunt for the Claret Jug. Its going to be an epic adventure on a seriously tough test.

We will be watching every shot, like always. Here’s to seeing who will be crowned the Champion Golf of the Year.
