Final Day Sunday at PGA Champs
Check out the full majorpunter score's at the PGA Champs.
From a packed leaderboard on Sunday, out of the chaos emerged a worthy winner, who was supreme in ball-striking and scoring under the heat of a major championship. Aaron Rai was not an expected winner but came out on top with ease in the end, with a back-nine blitzkrieg.
Challengers came and went and despite their efforts, Rai was 3 clear playing 18.
Round of the Day
Kitayama posted a week low 63, going out early and give the leaders a target to work towards. JT felt like he might have a chance after a surging 65, but his score was matched by the eventual champion.
Performance of the Day
Shooting 65, including an eagle, winning by 3 and your maiden major win too, Aaron Rai stood head and shoulders above all others. Those others included major champions and some of the best we have.
Rai’s 75 foot putt on 17 was a distinct moment, but the way-too-confident spinny wedge on 13 from the bunker was the moment that the championship became his.
The Leaders
The top 15s managed to lock their tickets into next year’s PGA Champs which for The Feed, Kitayama, Schmid & Smalley is gold, whilst the others already have exemptions via various categories or would be more likely to get so later in the year.

It was an exciting weekend at Aronimink and ultimately a worthy 1st major winner came to the fore.

At the bottom, there were some big numbers for a few punters.
Tomoose & Friends held the fort at the bottom, taking the wooden spoon, a full 11 shots from next worst Slick Willie.
We are looking forward to the next major, the US Open at the famed Shinnecock. JJ will be defending and its likely to be sensational - firm, fast and tormenting.
